The story behind
Palette Forward.

For years, I had a closet full of clothes — and still felt like I had nothing to wear.

I kept buying pieces that looked cute online or seemed practical in the moment, but somehow never felt quite right once they were in my closet. I usually played it safe with black, gray, olive, and the occasional blue because they felt easy and dependable. But over time, my closet started to feel like the same few safe neutrals on repeat — practical, familiar, and not really the kind of wardrobe that made me excited to get dressed.

Then I discovered color analysis.

Watching how the right colors could brighten someone's face, soften their features, and make them look instantly more alive completely changed the way I thought about getting dressed. When I found my own season, I finally understood why some pieces worked beautifully while others always felt a little off. I wanted to shop for colors I knew would look good on me and build a wardrobe that made me feel more confident and put together. Knowing my best colors made shopping feel more intentional — like I was investing in the right pieces instead of taking another guess.

But when I tried to shop with that new clarity, I ran into a new problem: finding the right colors online was still overwhelming. Sifting through site after site trying to find the right version of a color quickly became exhausting. Was that red warm enough? Was that yellow too bright? Did that "soft blue" actually fit my palette? The analysis gave me answers, but shopping still felt like guesswork.

That's why I created Palette Forward.
